Babysitter in Apple Valley

Hi P.,

I live on the Apple Valley/Burnsville border, and stay home with my almost 2-year old daughter. We live in the Apple Valley school disctrict, and can highly recommend the Apple Valley ECFE courses. Sign up as soon as possible, as the classes fill up early. I've missed 2 sessions since Gwun was born, because I was slow to register.

There are tons of fun things to do around here. Library has ton of events...and the Apple Valley community center has open-gym time which is a hit with the toddler kids (Monday and Wednesday mornings 10:45).

I haven't used any babysitters yet, as we have family members nearby competing for turns to babysit, but I know other moms who could recommend some good babysitters. ( We could always exchange day-time playdates amongst ourselves too.)

We moved to Inver Grove Hts (bordering Eagan)from St. Paul last spring- there is a lot to do in the southern suburbs;

Rosemount, Apple Valley and Eagan all have Community Centers with free or minimal fee open gym times for toddler/preschool age. I like Eagan because it has a huge inside playground, t/th 9:30-11:30 is for under age 5 and is $3

Barnes & Noble has story time- Eagan's is Monday 11 am. They have a train table as well :)
Of course the zoo is fun if you have an annual pass. And ECFE has a few centers- one in apple valley and Eagan.

I don't know of any babysitters, but would be interested in playdates. I'm 35 and stay at home with my 19month old son and one on the way. As for places to go. We go to Apple Valley community center. They have free gym mon,wed and fri. We also got a year membership to the zoo.
