Bakery in Mesa/Gilbert for Bridal Shower Cake

I know that Honeymoon sweets in Tempe did my wedding cake 5 years ago and people are STILL talking about it! I loved their service and they really went out of their way.
If you are considering going to a grocery store for it I highly recommend going to Bashas. They are the only store I know of that makes theirs fresh and doesn't just thaw out a frozen cake and slap on some frosting. They also do special orders for what you want. I know Ann at the Bashas on higley and elliot in gilbert will do anything you want. she is so sweet I have used her to make stuff for me in the past- no complaints! Good luck to you!! Costco all the way!! They make yummy cakes at a very reasonable price. I would look there or Sam's club.

Sorry, no help on the cake. But I recently had a shower and one of the games that went over well was a word scramble. Each person got their own sheet and the title at the top said, "What Baby Sam Will Need". Then I had 15 words listed and they were all baby words; pacifier, bobby, stroller, whatever you want. They had a certain amount of time to unscramble them. Also measuring the belly with toilet paper is a fun one.

Roberts Catering in Chandler makes wonderful cakes. Their website is http://www.robertscatering.net/. They made my wedding cake, baby shower, and daughters first birthday cakes! They are reasonably priced and reliable.

Costco!! We have some yummy and fun cakes from there. One friend had a baby shower cake that said "bye bye tummy, hello mommy"

Cathys Rum Cake is the best. I highly recommend. A little pricy, but soooo worth it. My favorite is the custard filling with fresh strawberries. Get the square one that looks like a gift.

Bridal shower game. Get toilet paper and pair people up. Have the pair make wedding dresses and a veil. Whoever is most creative wins prizes.

In the party stores they have this game like pin the tail on the donkey but its a big poster with a guy in a tux on it. Instead of tails there are lips. You blind fold the guest, spin them around and then place the lips. This is soooo funny.

Kathys Rum Cake is delicious !! Also a small bakery on main street right in the middle of Mesa has yummy cakes. Paradise bakery or actually Bashas has a good bakery also, my friend used them for her daughters wedding.
