Bikini/brazilian Waxing in Houston, TX

I just recently had my first Brazilian Wax... actually I'd never even had a bikini wax!

Bella Salon & Day Spa (in Katy, S. Mason near I-10) Michelle was absolutely WONDERFUL! They are very sanitary (Single Use Paddles, etc.) She explained every step she was doing and why, such as using a talc like powder so the strips would stick to the hair and not the skin. I hardly felt any pain! She calmed me down by just talking with me, like I said it was my first time. lol Since it was my first time it wasnt a full brazilian but more than a bikini so she didnt charge full price either.

Ask for Helena to do your waxing- she is Brazillian herself. I have had other people wax but Helena is thorough and I always go in thinking it will hurt more than it does. Truthfully waxing is not a walk in the park but she does it as painlessly as possible- and is good about keeping up the chatter so you aren't focused on getting all those little hairs ripped out. She's at Richmond and Fountainview.... I have a standing Monday appointment every 5 weeks!

Di Beleza Brazilian Wax, Hair and Spa also offers the sugar wax and Di, the owner is the best. She makes sure that no ingrowns are left behind. Her prices are very cheap considering the service that is provided. She is very busy since she has lots of clients for hair color, hair treatments, and waxing. They are by far the most sanitary place I've ever been -- they use a new paddle with each application (a lot of places reuse paddles with each customer which can transfer infection). The techs also wear gloves and the salon is very clean. I've been to several other day spas and this is the only one I go to anymore.

Cleopatra's secret in West Houston on Memorial Dr. I have been going there for 7+ years and even had a full brazillian 1 week before giving birth. They don't use wax...they use sugar (the only place I know of in Houston)which doesn't stick to the skin and is less painful and less prone to bruising. They are GREAT!!!
