I have run out of ideas. My daughter keeps shooting down all my suggestions. Does anyone have any creative ideas for a party location for a soon to be 11 yr. old girl in and around the Crown Point, Merrillville area?

What can I do next?

My daughter turned 11 in Janurary. She had a sleepover party, they played the WII had a bowling tournament. Then they had a dance contest. Anothe idea, if she is into the american girl dolls, they have a mystery party game, or if the girls coming are girly girls have some moms or older neighbor girls help and create your own libby lu. Have done all of these partys with huge success. hope this helps

You can have a facial party! Girls are interested in make-up and fragrances so young now. I sell Arbonne products and I can do a PJ party or mother daughter party. The girls can try fun "SugarSlush" body wash and lotions. The FYI line is made just for young adults. Arbonne's products are botanically based..pure, safe, and beneficial to the consumer. I'd love to talk specific details with you. You can also look up the company on www.arbonne.com.

How about a Slumber party with movies, popcorn, plenty of nail polish - making crafts go to JoAnn Fabrics you'll see great ideas. Rollerskating - Swimming at one of the Indoor swimming pools they have now a days. I always rented a room at the Radisson Hotel, Merrillville, IN and had friends spend the night, they had pizza in the room & cake and brought swim suits and you'll have to be responsible for the kids that go swimming - you must be Johnny on the spot!!! I'll think of more ideas. I've always loved party planning.

Try suggesting a slumber party and buy things for doing their nails and feet. Serve pizza or Mexican night Sometimes you can get those things that go between the toes really cheap. Go to a dollar store. I know girls love doing each others nails and hair. Rent videos, be careful to what videos to not offend any parents. There is fun flatibles in Dyer at Rt. 30 and Sheffield or it maybe Hart at that intersection. Bowling and pizza. Good luck:-)

there's a paint your own pottery place at southlake mall next to dick's sporting goods. something different.

i'm not sure if hannah montana is still "cool" at that age? but if so, you could have a sleepover and buy or rent a karaoke machine and buy a couple fun wigs, and the girls could give eachother makeovers and take turns as the "star" of the show. you could take pics w/ a polaroid camera (or a digital camera if you have a printer at home). if you want to do even more, then you could buy the girls all those cheap plastic frames and they could decorate the frames (w/ paint markers, beads, etc) and put their 'hannah montana'-esque picture in it as a momento from the party.
