My daughter is a very responsible 16yr old who is trying to earn her own gas money. She has been pet sitting in the neighborhood (stonebridge) and loves it. I'm sure she would be a lot cheaper than a kennel, no bordatella vaccine required, and your house would have activity while you were away.

My nieghbor also occasionally watches dogs through a service called Pets Are Inn. I don't know anything about them - I have just seen the van dropping off/picking up pets before. Good luck!

Our dog LOVES going to Woodland Park on the west side of McKinney off 380. They are wonderful people, and will take superb care of your dogs. Their website is www.wppetresort.com. Check them out!

I am a pet parent of 5 rescue dogs. I use a great facility called Tail Waggers Country Inn. They will pick up your pet, board and deliver back to your home. I have used them several times and my guys have had a great time. They have a web site or you can call them at 877 774-3647. They are very reliable, including the drivers.

You may consider a pet sitter instead. If interested, Call Theresa Hunter of All Creatures Great to Small ###-###-####). She is a professional with years of dog experience and highly reputable. I know her professionally and personally. She's located in McKinney! Pets traditionally are more comfortable and calmer when remaining in their home environment.

Our Yorkies always go to Animal Medical Center when we must board them. AMC is located at Jordan/Virginia.

I recommend Debi Alford as well. She has taken care of our 3 dogs and house when we've been gone.

Very nice, reliable and good with the dogs.
