Favorite Pair of Jeans?

I love wearing jeans and thankfully have the lifestyle, so I can.
I would like to add a few pairs of jeans to my collection, so I would love to hear from other mamas on your favorite pair of jeans.

What brand are they? Where can you buy them?
What rise do you prefer (high/low) - and what cut - straight/boot, etc?

Anyone wear Buckle or Lucky? Do you like them?

I'm a size 6 or 8 (depending on the brand) and I'm 5 Ft 4 inches, so just on the edge of petite for length.

What can I do next?

I am petite. Usually a size 0-2 depending on the brand.

I LOVE my super soft Stevie jeans from Anthropologie. They are SO comfortable and I wear them almost daily. I like low rise, straight leg, skinny type jean. I paid about $170 for them and they are worth every penny!!

I also LOVE my Guess Daredevils. I paid about $125 for them over 12 yrs ago so you can say I get my money's worth out of my jeans!

I take good care of my jeans and I wear them for many years.

I'm tall (6') with a 36" inseam, size 10, so finding jeans is a little tricky for me. I LOVE my Citizens of Humanity jeans. I buy them from Nordstrom. I have a few pairs of Seven jeans, and don't love those quite as much because they are fairly low-rise (I always feel like I'm going to have butt crack showing if I sit down!). I prefer a medium-rise jean - they have to pass the sit-down test and not show any crack, but not be so high that they look like the dreaded Mom Jeans.

It's taken me ages to find something that fit, but I love my Eddie Bauer curvy fit jeans, mid-rise, with a trouser straight leg. They fit my hips and butt but don't leave any gap at the waist -- a real miracle! I had to take my pants to the tailor to get the waist taken in an inch or two before discovering these jeans.

I LOVE my New York and Company jeans! I have been every size from 0 to 14 (yes, I have food issues, LOL!) and I have had great luck with their jeans. I like all different styles as long as they are mid-rise. I have also had good luck with the Sweetheart style from Old Navy. I am 5'5".

I LOVE my "Not your Daughter's Jeans". I, too, don't care for the low-rise jeans but also don't like 'em too high. I like a boot cut.

Good luck! Sometimes finding just the right jeans can be as tough as finding just the right man!

I am cheap...I like Calvin Klein skinny jeans from Macys. They were on sale for $30-ish and aren't truly skinny, just straight and mid-rise. I've had a couple Lucky and didn't like them any more or less than anything else out there.

I just got a pair from JcPenney's that were on sale and they are skinny jeans with a slight stretch to them so they shape to you. Super comfy! They are Rewind jeans, I also like a pair of City Streets jeans.

I am the same height as you and a size 8.

I am also in search of the perfect jeans. My most fav ones now have a hole in the knee and when I went to buy the same exact ones, they are not made the same. Poor me. I don't like stretch, and the waist can't be too high, or too low. I don't like flair, or skinny, or tapered leg. I'm picky and on the hunt. No luck yet.

I love my Lucky Lil Maggies, they are ultra low rise which took some getting used to but now are my favorites! I am 5'3" and the regular length is perfect for me. I actually found mine at our local Rethreads, I think you have one in Madison also! Nothing better than namebrand jeans for $16.50!

I am your height and size. I don't own a lot of jeans, but my favorites right now are Guess and D9 jeans. I like low-rise, not too skinny, jeans. I bought the Guess at a Guess store and found two pair of D9 jeans at an outlet store for a really good price.Guess has been my favorite for years, they aren't cheap but they last. I hadn't heard of D9 until I found them and I like that the length was right for me.

AG or David Kahn...bootcut. I've tried a few different brands and always go back to these 2. I am the exact same size and height as you. I usually don't do petite because they are too short so I just have them hemmed...it's worth it for how much use I get out of them. You can find at Hot Mama or Nordstrom.

I'm with Riley...my inseam is 36". I wear a size 6. I love jeans from American Eagle...they fit and they make them in TALL!

They also make them for shorter ladies...

I don't wear Buckle jeans. They're too expensive for my taste.

I love citizens of humanity. I dont' know what it is, but they just look so much better on me. Inseam shouldn't be a defining factor - hems are $10. I also prefer bootcut.
