Its time to find a Pre-school for my boys to go too. I have no idea where to look. This will be the first time that I have let my boys out of my sight since being born. I am nervous!!!! I want a good Pre-school for them to go too. Somewhere I know they will be safe and in good hands. Like I said I have never had anyone else take care of them, so it will be a brand new experience for both me & them. Hopefully someone can help out with any suggestions....

What can I do next?

Hi T. I am not sure what part of Sacramento you live in or going to work in. I loved my daughters pre-school. It is in Downtown Sacramento. It was Busy Bee Nursery School. We loved it because we felt it was the best of both worlds. It had the benefit of a large facility but a lot of home charm. It has been around forever. I think 40+ years. You will get a lot of advise on where to send your boys, but here is mine. Just start looking when you find the one you will know. That good old mother instinct will kick in and say "yep this is the one". Good luck!!

My daughter has been going to preschool at Peace Natomas Lutheran Church. It is a wonderful program, and the teachers are great. She will be 5 in August, and is already writing her name! They are located on San Juan Rd. in South Natomas, and the price is very reasonable compared to others, I hear. Good luck!

SInce you boys have never been away from you, maybe you should look into one of the co-op preschools. My daughter goes to Edward Kelly through Sacramento Unified School District Adult Education, you are actually the student. I participate one day a week(required)(sometimes I am there more) and attend 2 parent meetings a month. There are other school through the district with similar programs. The one she is in is 5 days a week, although she doesn't always goe all five days. SOme of the other ones are only 3 days a week. SHe has learned so much, she can write and recognize letters and numbers, the days of the week, ect.... Good luck!

T. my Daughter goes to the Co-op parenting Pre-School at O.W. Erlewine through Sacramento School District Adult Education. I love it. The school allows me to be part of the class and she is learning so much through-out the day. I too had her with me 24/7 and needed some place to send her that would still give me that type of accesibility. check it out.

My son is 3 and I have him going to Merryhill Preschool in Natomas. I LOVE it! It's a private preschool preparing kids for private school, so the teaching and learning is a huge focus. My son can spell his name, he already recognizes letters, he can count to 20 in spanish...they just really teach them a lot, and I'm very happy with the care they provide. Compared to other "institutionalized" preschools (not in-home), the price isn't really much different. Anyway, I have been recommending this preschool to everyone who is inquiring about preschools in the area. Good luck!!
