My sister-in-law is coming to visit this weekend and wants to take our 3 year old to go do something fun. We live in Frisco and she originally wanted to take him to the Ft Worth zoo...however, it is suppose to be chilly on Saturday and to be honest, she doesn't have children and I don't feel comfortable having someone take my child to such a busy place where he could get lost without me being with them. I know I might be overproctective but it's my baby and I couldn't live with myself if something happened. I have been trying to think of something else that would be fun that she could take him to do but am at a loss. We took my son to the Children's musuem just 3 weeks ago and I thought about the World Aquarium but I don't feel comfortable with her walking around downtown by herself and just him. Do you guys have any other suggestions of something that is fun for a 3 year old that won't have him outside for an extended amount of time and would be safe for someone that isn't use to dealing with a 3 year old and is from out of town to take him.

I would take him to KidzMuze in Coppell. My 3 year old loves it and it's inside. They also have the adult and child wear matching bracelets and they monitor the door. www.kidzmuze.com

What about the Wiggles Playcenter up in Frisco? The kids wear little wristbands, and they have to be matched to the quardian's drivers license before they leave the facility. They have a website you can look at.

How old is your sisiter in law and what makes you believe she is not responsible enough to keep track of your 3 year old. Atleast at the zoo she can keep him confined to a stroller while they are walking around. I think the zoo is a great idea but you could offer chuck e cheese as an alternative

M.,
My girlfriend and I were just at the Fort Worth Zoo, and honestly, its so early in the seasons you would feel like you have the place rented out! And its organized quite well - hard to get lost and hard for you to lose track of your child by your side as well. But if its cool, try going to Wiggles in Frisco - I hear that the indoor play area is awesome for kids, but b/c its Saturday you might find that place to be quite busy on the weekend too.

Another place that I thought was neat was the Dallas Aquarium. It is a neat place and you follow a path type thing through the "jungle" to see all types of animals/birds/ etc. and then you go underground and see the big aquariums. It wouldn't take up alot of the day...maybe an hour or so, but it is really kinda neat!

Hi M.!

You guys have the Wiggly Play Center right there in Frisco!! Near that Tom Thumb off of Preston/Lebanon. It is a fun place to go, but contained as well. It does get crowded, so get there as soon as the doors open! The food is cheap, but good there too!

Plano has several inside Jump Places or Kid places, I can send you those too. Email me at ____@____.com

Good Luck!

Gladys
