We are looking for a dance or tumbling class for our 2 1/2 yr. old. Any suggestions for a place you have taken your child(ren) and LOVED! I would ideally like to find a place with teachers who are patient, hands on and positive.

Studio One on Basswood and Park Vista! I have referred so many people there. They are the most wonderful and patient teachers I have ever seen!! My daughter started there when she was 3, but they do 2 year old as well. Even special needs classes. You will not be disappointed! The recitals are at Central High School and are so awesome! The girls think they are the biggest ballerina's ever!
studioonedancecenter.com or ###-###-#### or just go by. Good luck!

I love the Little Gym. I started taking my kids there when they were 10 months old and now they are 6 and 3, and they still love it. When my daughter did take dance there, it was nice because you did not have all the extra fees associated with some of the dance schools.

The NRH Parks and Rec has a great program. If Miss Carolyn is still there, she's the best!

I am looking into King and Roberts Studio of Dance for my 6 yr old. I have had several excellent reccommendaitons on this place. I don't know how young they start though. They have a location on 377 and a new one around Heritage Trace somewhere. They have a website so you can google them.

I know Dana's dance studio starts at 2 1/2 and they are at old Denton and heritage trace or southlake. Also altitudes cheer and tumbling start at 2 in Keller. I have never been to either but in the process of recearching for my 2 year old. The tunneling will give you a free class and I have heard great things about Dana's. Good luck!

We took a toddler tumbling class at the Roanoke Rec Center. We live in Keller too, it's not very far. I was terrific! We only intended to take one class for six weeks. We kept signing back up because it was so much fun, relatively cheap
($55 for non member non residents)and it was always something different.

I'm not sure where you live, but my 4 year old started taking dance when she was 3 at StudioOne Dance Center in Keller. It just opened in August 2007, and my daughter started taking dance when it opened. Jennifer, the owner/instructor, is wonderful. You can tell she loves what she does and loves the kids as well. She is patient and kind with them always. We love, love, love the studio. My daughter takes a tap, ballet, tumbling combo class on Monday evening, and she absolutely loves the class. Feel free to contact me if you'd like more details. I couldn't say enough positive things about the studio. We also love the fact that it is a Christian dance studio... we don't have the concerns about appropriateness of moves/costumes as our daughter gets older. We pay $50/month for one hour/week class. There is also a recital fee in the spring. I think that fee is $50, and a costume fee of $65. Good luck with your search. They offer classes starting at age 2. If you'd like to check out their website it's www.studioonedancecenter.com.
