I am looking for a midwife who will deliver at Mercy Gilbert Hospital. I really want a Midwife as opposed to a MD but feel more comfortable delivering in a hospital. I need someone that accepts cigna healthcare as well. Thanks!
Double check, if you haven't, I heard about a year ago that Cigna wasn't being accepted at that hospital. I am sure things have changed since then.
My son was born at Mercy with the help of Janice Bovee from Boojum OB ... She is amazing, and I also really loved Ramona, who is there as well.They both deliver there and Chandler. I think you would like their practice.
Both Janice Bovee and Ramona Joseph at Boojum (http://www.drkells.com) deliver at Mercy Gilbert. I don't know about what insurance they accept, but I can't say enough great things about both of them! I just had my second child almost 3 weeks ago at Mercy Gilbert. Ramona delivered him and it was really such a great experience with her....she has a way of putting me completely at ease. Janice is a little more high energy and bubbly...but both are just fantastic!
