I would love to get my daughter into some sort of soccer, horseback riding, something!!! Any ideas? I've checked yellow pages.com and they don't offer too much around here.

What can I do next?

Look at your local park or recreation center. My 6 year old has been in soccer and t-ball since 3. I coach with my county recreation center. I don't know where you are but try Patriots park...Riverview, Belvedere. They all have sports programs fom soccer to t-ball and more. Also...The YMCA for swimming, gymnastics, and other sports. You are doing the right thing to get him involved in team sports. It gives great confidence and team spirit..Go MOM!

Hi S., I have some friends who take their little girls to group ice skating classes at Augusta Ice Sports Center ###-###-#### and they said that they LOVE it!. You can see the center if your are driving Wetbound on Bobby Jones on the left hand side. I've also seen a sign for an equestrian center in Grovetown. If you driving in the direction from Robinson Ave to the Euchee Library then you'll see the sign on the right hand side of the road. I don't know the name of the center though. Hope that helps.

I recently enrolled my boys (2 and 7) in ice skating lessons, and they both LOVE it! I didn't even think about it until they both took turns trying out my rollerblades one day, and thankfully their enthusiasm to return to the classes only grows every time we go! The classes are early on Saturdays, leaving the whole weekend open if there are other things I want to get done. I highly recommend it! I also know a few families with girls that go to cheer classes, and there's also some places that offer martial arts.
