I am looking for a child care center in the Chandler/Gilbert/Mesa area that offers drop-in child care. Does anyone know of any or have comments on any you have used? I'm also in need of a good babysitter for the occassional nite out. We live in the Warner/Cooper area.

I don't know any personally but if you go to www.craigslist.com , you can look at all the different places. You can also see who is certified and not as well.

We have a care giver that lives off of Greenfield and University in Mesa. She does in home child care Mon-Friday from very early to 5 or 6pm. Since I do not work much anymore I just call her the beginning of the week and tell her when I need to drop off my kids. She has been very flexible and affordable. Her name is Audrey Jacobson ###-###-####. She has watched all three of my kids for nearly 7 years. They love her very much.

We live off Elliot/Dobson in Chandler. My daughter babysits for several people in and around the area. Of course to feel comfortable with her or any other person you would have to meet them. She certified in CPR two years ago and we are going to be doing it again soon (certification is only good for two years). She mostly babysits weekends for my friends and people at our church. Churches are also a great resource to find babysitters. Hope this helps.

There's a new place on Warner/Arizona that's called Precious Treasures. I saw them at a booth at the Gilbert Spring Fair & Expo. I never used them. But you can find out about it. www.precioustreasures.org.

Good luck and post about the outcome if you decide to go there.

I also heard that Sittercity.com is good.
