Looking for Good Dentist

We used McIlwain Family Dentistry, and were very happy. They have a pediatric side, which is why we started. My daughter was so afraid of needles! When she needed novacaine, she didn't even know she'd gotten a shot for it! When she needed braces, she was able to get them there, as the lead dentist is also an orthodontist. When she got old enough, she switched to the adult side. So this is a place the whole family can go. Dr. McIlwain is located on Habana, north of MLK.

My husband and I have gone to Richard DeMarsh for years. Several of our friends see him and so does our 3 year old son. We are both in the medical field and my husband knows Dr DeMarsh from USF, he is the team dentist for the athletes there. He is not only a wondertful dentist but also a great person, very easy to get along with. He is great w/kids as well as is his office staff. He's in old Carrollwood on the corner of Rome and Fletcher. Good luck with your search!

I take my kids to a pediatric dentist off of Dale Mabry. It is a family owned business, the name is Pettinato. We've only been there twice but haven't had any problems. The address & phone # are: 14497 North Dale Mabry; ###-###-#### It was a little hard to find the first time we went, but once you know where it is it's easy. It is BEHIND the plaza where the Grillsmith is.
My husband and I go to Friendly Smiles. It is up Dale Mabry almost to 41, but there is one on Gunn Hwy as well. Never had any problems there either. Good Luck!
