You MUST go to Dr. Naomi SUriel. She has offices in Manhattan beach and Beverly Hills. She is the BEST doctor ever. I am delivering with her today (my second with her). I have 8 other friends who have delivered with her. She is really nice and funny, really takes care of the mom, really is serious when she has to be (just yesterday I was having an amnio and I met someone in the waiting room at Cedars that swears that Suriel saved her friend's baby and saved a different friend who got toxemia and needed emergency C-section. I cannot say enough about her. She delivers at Cedars Sinai, which is also a blessing. Cedars was wonderful. The one thing that makes me feel good about going to deliver today (by induction) is that I will be in a place where there is every single specialist AND that I know that Suriel will be there. She does not miss births. She is part of an all female practice that believes that your doctor should deliver your baby. I highly recommend her. In fact, she is the best doctor I have ever seen. I see Dr. Francine Ito in Torrance. She has delivered both of my children and although her bedside manner is not the best, I trust her completely. She has gotten me through a tough delivery the first time without having a c-section, which I was very close to having. I have a few friends that see her and they really like her as well and have delivered their babies (they all have two kids). Also, if you prefer a man, she works with Dr. John Lim and he is really nice. I have another friend who sees him and she just adores him and he has delivered both of her babies. The first one he came to the hospital in the middle of night when he wasn't even on duty but she wanted him to deliver her baby. Here is their info and they are affiliated with the Little Company of Mary Hospital, which is a beautiful hospital. The only thing is that they do not accept HMO insurance.
