Looking for Quality Daycare near Lewisville, Tx for 3 Year Old Girl

Hey P. - Welcome to Texas! I'm originally from OKC, best advice I can give about that is no, it's NOT the same weather as Oklahoma, it's a lot freakin' hotter here! Anyway -

My son is at Children's Choice Learning Center - it is right next to Medical Center of Lewisville. I highly recommend the center - the director, Kim Blair, is great - I actually consider her a friend. The teacher turnover is extremely low, and the center itself is very steeped in the whole village raises a child concept. The curriculum is very focused and very learning-based and changes every 2 weeks. A private kindergarten will be starting this fall. The school hosts many events - we have a family day once a month where we might have a big picnic, or go to the skating rink, etc. - this month, we're having a summer kick-off carnival - complete with snowcones, cotton candy, nachos, water slides, face painting, etc. We also try to schedule a mom's night out each month.

You can drop by anytime for a tour, or you can call Kim at ###-###-####. The hours are 6:30-7:30 M-F. The children are served 3 meals a day, plus snacks. I have a two year old and I pay $175 a week for 5 days. I think it goes down $10 for each age group. Can't think of what all you might need to know, so feel free to email me any questions about it.

We have considered moving out of the area - and the major reason we have chosen not to is because we have such excellent childcare.

Are you looking for part-time or full-time? Christian based? Cornerstone Learning Center in Flower Mound (FM 2499 and FM 3040 area) is where my son attends. He is very happy there. They have both part-time and full-time options. It is a Christian based school (ages 18 mos-1st grade). They use the ABEKA curriculum. They have extended hours 6:45am-6:30pm. I take my two year old boy to Ms. Pam's Playhouse. She is WONDERFUL. It's an at home daycare off Morriss Road in Flower Mound.
