I'm part of a small, Christian moms group in St.Clair Shores. The kids play. We talk and share a bit of scripture and close in prayer. Thursday 10-11:30 am through the school year. The Shores Church. 1/4 Mile east of I-94 off 10 Mile. Church phone ###-###-####. You can just show up whenever you can. You'd be warmly greeted. Enter through the Lange St.door off Manhattan which runs across 10 Mile from St.Isaac Jogues Church.

I am the queen of free cheap entertainment..

The library has lots of freee events for kids.. check troy.. also look at the other libraries in your area... royal oak sterling heights.. etc... some libraries are a pain and require that you be a resident to come to a program or sign up ahead of time.. others are open to anyone ..

Sterling heights is a great library.. they have no registration for most programs so just come whenever.. the room is large and the librarians are great.

Oakland shools runs FREe playgroups throught the county. It is on the oakland.k12.mi.us website.. look under early childhood and it is a couple of pages down..

Join a moms club.. great way to meet other moms and kids..

Centerline public schools has a fabulaous playgroup.. meets wednesday mornings.. $5 per week.. it runs throughout the school year and was a lifesaver for me..

I try to find classes that are under $10 per session.. because I have 2 kids and entertaining them can eat up my budget.

Check you local library. They usually have toddler type activities every week for free. I know the Sterling Heights Public Library has a toddler class on Tuesdays where they usually do a craft and listen to stories.

Hi Jenni,

I am a member of the Madison Heights MOMS Club that includes Troy. We have all sorts of activities and playdates. We do have yearly dues of $25, however we never turn a mom down for financial reasons so if that is a problem please don't let that stop you from looking into the group.

For more information check out our site

I also live in Troy so if you are interested in just getting together please don't hesitate to PM me, I always love meeting new friends for me and my kids!!!

Take Care and I hope to hear from you :)
