Need a Good Female GYN.

I moved here about 7 months ago and it's time for the once a year female checkup. Which means I have to find a new doctor now. Yippee!
If you know of a great GYN that is a woman I would greatly appreciate knowing who they are. Needs to be between Vista Lakes area and Waterford Lakes area. My husband prefers that I see a woman, doesn't put his foot down about it, but prefers it.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

After being recommended to this office, I checked out their website. Not only was I completely amazed and impressed I watched the interview with Dr. Pati about Bio-Identical Hormones. OMG! It's like someone had already told her what I was going through. Needless to say, I made an appt. with her for the 24th of this month. She's not on most insurance plans as a preferred provider, and requires you make 1/2 of the cost of the initial visit upfront when scheduling. I really feel that this is where I need to be at least to start. I will keep you posted after the visit and let you know how it went.
I can't tell Angela thank you enough for referring me to Dr. Patti. I literally, cried watching her interview. It was like finally someone knows what I am talking about and I haven't even seen her yet. I am like a little kid in anticipation of Christmas morning right now.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Not the exact area you are looking for but I have searched high and low and I can tell you that the best of the best is Dr. Pati and Sajune Medical Center in Baldwin Park. She is the warmest most wonderful Gyn ever and treats you as a whole person. She has me feeling better then I have in years. She diagnosed my thyroid problem and addressed some hormone and sleep issues and I just went there for my yearly check up. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I see that you got a recommendation for Dr. Barry too. I have seen her as well. She is in Baldwin Park too. She is good but just kept brushing off my fatigue as Mother of 3 syndrome and was not willing to actually test my hormone level before she put me on progesterone cream and I really wanted someone to do the testing and monitoring not just trial and error. I too am 39 and have 3 kids 17, 7 and 4 so I imagine we are going through a lot of the same female issues.

I am not sure what area you are in, but I love mine. Her name is Susan Vaughn (she is a midwife) at Advanced Women's Health Specialists in Lake Mary ###-###-####. Everyone there is great, except stay away from Dr. Quinsey.

Not sure where you live, but I used to go to Lori Lambert in the Dr. Phillips area and really liked her. When our insurance changed, I had to switch Dr.'s and was very disappointed. I also have several friends who go to Dr. Farwick at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee and are very happy with her care.
