I'm looking for someone to provide swimming lessons to my 6 year old boy. He's never had any lessons. Any suggesions on where to look that won't cost an arm and a leg? We're in Justin, but would be able to travel to Roanoke, Grapevine, Flower Mound. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 5 yr. old, and she just finished her 2 week swim session at the YMCA. I definetly think you can't get any better for the price. I believe it was $70-$75 for two weeks, and they base it more on experience than on age. I am not sure which YMCA would be closest to you, but if you hop on I35 and exit Basswood Blvd., there is a YMCA at Basswood and Park Vista.
I took private lessons as an adult at the YMCA in Coppell and had a great experience. While I was attending my lessons the classes for children were in the same area. I would reccomend their classes just from observation.
try Aqua Kids in Heritage (Keller) area. my 2 year old just finished his lessons there. very nice place, clean and heated pools! they do have a website.

My son is doing lessons at the YMCA In flower mound and I have been more impressed than expected. I think they are 52 for 2 weeks of lessons. He has learned lots and is swimming on his own after the 3rd lesson. Check them out for sure. It is kind of a long drive for you but I guess anything would be coming from Justin.
