The zoo or the aquarium are great. Let them do all the work. Or you can have it at your house and the aquarium can bring animals to your party. Another idea is to call Brucie Klay's Dance Center at ###-###-####. They can come to your house and provide a princess type dance/play time that they will love.

My Little Pony is a cute theme. Or Little Princess. Your best bet is to go to the Dollar Tree and see what they have in plates, cups and napkins and go from there. Usually they also have party favors and decorations that match the plates, etc....
One and three are very easy ages to plan a party for.

If you want to have it at home or a park a cupcake theme is really cute. I did it for dd's 1st birthday. I had cupcake balloons, made a giant cupcake(wilton pan) for the main cake, mini giant cupcake (wilton again) for her smash cake and cupcake pops (google Bakerella) for more treats. Everything was pink and brown. I also made a tutu for her highchair and she was wearing a cupcake dress I bought online with matching shoes I found at Target. For favors I found cupcake placeholders and instead of cards I put a photo of her in it. For the kids I got cupcake bags off of Ebay and filled with stickers (Target), Krazy straws (party city), cupcake bookmarks (Joanns) and candy. I got tons of compliments on the party. I have pics on my blog if you're interested. Just email me.

Do they like music? Music is great for a variety of ages. There is often musical decorations available at any party store, although the plates, etc. can be a simple color. Fun music can be playing in the background of free play. Then you can have a few musical activities where everyone gets to participate, like The Wheels on the Bus, Ring Around the Rosie, the Hokey Pokie, etc. Bring out lots of stuffed animals and sing a verse of Old MacDonalds Had a Farm, for each animal a child chooses. With any leftover Easter eggs, you can make shakers to play along with your child's favorite music. (Use electrical tape to close the seams). I don't recommend Musical Chairs, more often than not, someone gets hurt, or someone's feelings get hurt by being left out. Good music activities can focus on the music your children love, and can bring people together in wonderful ways. Good luck. BTW, check out the Kindermusik program in your area. I'm the teacher in Lakeland, but I know the teacher in Bradenton is fabulous.
