Do any of you have some creative place to sell items other than the standard
ebay, craigslist, once upon a child.
I have some better Disney costumes and ebay now takes 15%- misc. stuff too.
Local consignments that aren't just clothes that give more than 50%??
Thanks in advance...

You can also consign at the Just Between Friends sales (http://www.jbfsale.com/default.cfm) in the twin cities area. I know the Maple Grove one is coming up in the next few weeks, but there are others throughout the region.

If you just consign, you get 65% of your sales. If you volunteer to work part of the sale, you can get 70% of your sales.

There is a twins group in Roseville that has a sale every fall. It's been a few years since I attended, but you could probably find them online.

You could also have a garage sale, I've still seen lots of them around.

There are lots of boutiques on Facebook that sell new and used clothing... some let others list their own items for resale.

Facebook also has an area where people can list items for sale (similar ro Craig's List).

The thing with the Multiple Mom groups is you have to be a member. I shop at JBF sales religiously. They are similar because they only have them 2x’s a year but having shopped both sales I lean towards JBF. You can participate as a consignor or just shop! You set the price for your own items and create tags online, you do only receive a % but I can honestly tell you that it is way better than OUAC. If you volunteer the % you receive is greater and you get Pre sale passes and you can shop before the public. Woodbury’s JBF is going on now and half price day is Saturday, you should go check it out. Edina’s is next week and Maple Grove is the week after … that is the really big one in the metro with approx 500 consignors and my personal fav.
There are other sales of this type ie: Spoiled little Rascals, From yours to Mine, Munchkin Market ( at the state fair grounds this weekend) But I have only been to JBF sales. Great way to make some extra cash, what I earn I usually just use to shop but it gets me pre sale passes. Check out JBF’s site www.jbfsale.com or the fan pages on Facebook.
If you have any specific questions send me a message. 

The St. Paul Mothers of Multiples has sales twice annually (the next one is, I believe, October 23rd). The club does take a cut from each seller, but it's less if you work a shift at the sale. Also, members get first dibs at the sale before the public does. ;)

Check to see if your area has a "mothers of twins club." Ask if they have a sale, or if they have a newsletter you can advertise in. Or, join up & meet other moms (who might be interested in buying your kids clothes). :)

I think you should give Craigslist a try. It's free and every time I've sold stuff on there (travel systems and other high end baby items) they go VERY fast. Make sure to include good pictures and firm details and they should FLY! Good luck!
