Poisonous Lipstick?

Hi Moms,

My mother always told me that I should never leave the house without lipstick on. I was able to follow these kind words of wisdom...until I had a little munchkin. When ever I would kiss him without taking my lipstick/lipgloss off first, his skin would break out in rash. I know that lipstick isn't poisonous. However, it's clearly not good for my son's skin. Can anyone recommend a cosmetic line or lipstick/lipgloss brand that is e-friendly or organic (if there is such a thing). I look like a ghost without any on and I've been using a tinkerbell chapstick that smells like grapes. Its really not attractive :-)

Thanks a bunch!

Have you tried Burt's Bees products? Sometimes you can find them at drug stores (Walgreen's I think). Whole Foods (Harry's Market in Marietta)also has a lot of chemical free makeup.

Find a determology doctor who sells make-up products.

Hi M.,

There is a e-friendly cosmetic line. I have been using for four years now. If you would like more information just email me and I will be glad to share with you what I use.

Thanks,
Z.

I second Burt's Bees. Their entire product line is AWESOME!!! Everything smells delicious!!! It's a little pricey, but the quality is worth it. Plus, you are supporting a wonderful company that is doing good work for the environment. Their colors are really pretty, too.
