i had my normal day 21 progesterone level taken this past thursday Nov 17- they called me back on friday and said my numbers were higher than last time (it was 3 last time) and this time it was a 9.7. So my dr said that i appeared I had ovulated. Well I woke up saturday morning and took a pregnancy test bc i knew that my husband and I were trying. By breasts were a little tender as well so I just took a pregnancy test. It was positive and so i took another one the next day and it was positive as well. I went to the dr bc my progesterone was so l ow on thursday and so i had my progesterone and hcg tested yesterday and my progesterone had rose to a 21 and my hcg was 87 which is low but i am SOOO early so they said that was alright as long as the next time i have my blood drawn that it goes up. So yesterday i went to the bathroom and just had a little bit of spotting. I am SO SO nervous that i am going to lose the baby and i know its more common that people think. What do you guys think?

What can I do next?

I had implantation bleeding with my first around 6 weeks...he's 4 years old now, healthy and uneventful pregnancy. Good luck!

I had spotting with both of my pregnancies and carried to full term. I know the waiting sucks. I was worried the whole time. Try not to worry, although I know it is so hard.

I had IVF and on the second day had some spotting. I call the doc in hysterics and he said it is probably implantation blah, blah. I didn't believe him and thought it didn't work. When I had to go in for the blood test . It was really positive . We now have boy/girl twins =) Hang in there , it's normal :)

It shouldn't be implantation bleeding since the embryo should have implanted by the time the test showed up positive. I tested at 3.5 weeks, bled for all of 5-6 weeks, and my little girl is now 5 months old. If it's only a little spotting you most likely have nothing to worry about. Congratulations!

It's very common to have spotting while pregnant especially around the time when you would normally expect your period to have started. If the spotting remains light (only requiring a pantyliner or less), usually all is well. Relax, and take a deep breath. Pregnancy is an exciting adventure so don't let anxiety steal your joy and excitement of becoming a Mom. I had spotting the day after I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd pregnancy (about day 15 post ovulation) and went on to have a normal, healthy full term son. Your progesterone and hcg levels are very good. A progesterone level over 12 within 2 weeks of ovulation is great. When you have a blood draw again in 48-72 hours to test your hcg, if the hcg number is about double (160 or higher), your pregnancy is progressing normally at this point. Congrats on your pregnancy and best wishes! Nurse Midwife Mom

I had spotting at my period time for the first few months with my last and I had full on bleeding with my first. I also had 3 miscarriages that I know about. It's hard to know this early. Somehow, you need to put this baby into God's hands and leave him/her there until he gives him/her back to you.

I spotted with my son, and he's a 3 yr old monster today.
This early on, it's hard to say, but very well could be implantation bleeding. That typically happens in the first 6-10 days of pregnacy. Given how early your are, the timing sounds right.
Congratulations!

If you are that early in the pregnancy there's no way of predicting whether spotting is just spotting or something to be worried about. But, having said that, it doesn't sound like anything serious from what you've described. Think positive and hope for the best! Good luck and congrats!
