I highly recommend Linda Collins. She is with Omaha OB/GYN and delivers at Lakeside and Clarkson. She is wonderful and really listens to her patients.

I love my OB...her name is Dr. Somer-Shely at Indian Hills Physicians Clinic on 90 and Dodge. She delivers at Methodist Hospital which is the only certified Baby Friendly Hospital (look the requirements up if you want to know how they earned that certification). I will be delivering my third baby with her in about 3 weeks. I cannot say enough about her.

I too go to Omaha OB/GYN and I love it. I see Dr. DeVries (male) and he's wonderful. He has a practice both at Lakeside and 42nd and Farnam. I've also heard great things about Dr. Collins (female) in the same practice. I highly recommend Omaha OB/GYN.

Kolbeck, Nabity, Bossert, Simmons and Schulte. They have offices at Lakeside (168th and Center) and Immanuel (72nd and Ames I think?) They are FABULOUS including the nursing staff. I see Dr. Bossert, but Dr. Gema Simmons is a woman. I highly recommend them!

I don't know who to recommend, but I know someone not to recommend. I had Dr. Linda Collins. I can tell you a horror story of the delivery of my daughter. The physican who fell asleep after my nurse called her while I had crowned with my daughter. Save yourself the trouble and go to someone who cares.

I love my OB/GYN. Her name is Gemma Simmons. She is with Kolbeck, Nabbity, Bossert & Simmons. They are all wonderful. They have 2 offices, one near Lakeside Hospital and one at Immanuel Hospital. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Good luck in your search.

My suggestion is Dr. Maureen Fleming, with Creighton. She can deliver either at Creighton or Alegent hospitals.

I love Omaha Ob/Gyn - they have offices at Lakeside and NE Med Center. I used Dr. Clemmer (who no longer does OB) and Dr. Deveris (male) but they have a wonderful group of drs. in the practice.

The receptionists at Lakeside are really nice and if you called them and told them what you were looking for in a doctor (gender, location/dates of appts you would want (since the docs travel between the offices), etc) they would help you decide which one would work best. Their number is ###-###-####.

Best of luck to you!

Hello D.,
I see Dr. Gema Simmons here in West Omaha. I liked that they had 4D imaging. If you're willing to see a male doctor I think Dr. Bossert is awesome and he's in the same group, but I too wanted to see a female. She was great during my pregnancy, but got a bit frustrated with me when it hurt when she was trying to break my water... several times. She is suppose to be one of the best at C-Sections which I ended up having to have.
