My mother recently underwent a mild heart attack & bypass while out of town. All of her care was out of state. She has just returned home and now needs a local cardiologist for follow up and maintenance care. She lives in Highland Village. She would prefer something near her in Flower Mound, Lewisville, Grapevine but for the right doctor she will drive to Dallas. We just want the best possible care for her! Thanks for any referrals.

There are a lot of great cardiologists in Dallas. My hubby is a nurse at Presby Dallas and gets to work with many of them. One he seems to think is really great is Dr. Lu. Good luck to you!
I recommend Dr. Osborne in Grapevine. He has all the latest eqipment and he is very thorough with each patient. He spends lots of time with each patient which tends to back him up with his other patients but he wants to give the best possible care for everyone.
He is on Hwy. 121 and Hall Johnson intersection.
I use Dr. David May in Lewisville (he's on Edmonds). I have been going to him for about 12 years now. When I was referred to him, I was told he was one of the best in the area.
I like him a lot. He is rather blunt and tells you like it is, but that is the way I want my doctor to be . . . no beating around the bush! :)
Dr. Haynie is in the same office with Dr. May at Cardiovascular Specialists. He is very thorough. They have an office on Edmonds and Purnell and a new office on 2499 and Dixon. We have been pleased with the thoroughness of both doctors. Dr. Haynie has a little better bedside manner than Dr. May. Dr. May is a bit funnier and to the point. Just depends on what you prefer.
I would highly recommend Cardiovascular Specialist of Lewisville. They have several offices in the area and you could choose which one was most convenient.
The lead physican is Dr David May. He has several partners, some of which have been with the practice for 10+ years.
I used to work with them and I can assure you that they are very, very good and very caring. Some of the Doctors joined the practice after I left, but the ones that I know personally are: Dr David May, Dr David Haynie, Dr Mitch Kruger and Dr Shirley Williams. If you do make an appointment, be sure to tell them that B. and Chuck Dunn referred you. PS They are my husband's Cardiologist, too.
My best to your Mother....being away and having to go through that experience can be very hard. I'm sure she is glad that she is with family, now. And that is how this practice operates...as one large family. I think you would both be pleased.
Dr. Hecht at Baylor Grapevine is wonderful. He's been taking care of my M. for several years.
The cardiology group I recommend is CSANT Cardiology in Irving and they also have a mid cities office, I believe.I used to work for them so I know the doctors are very good. Hope this helps. Good luck and I hope your M. continues to recover.
