Hi, M. -

Family eGuide has one of the most extensive summer camp lists in our area. Although most of them are in Lewisville and Flower Mound, there are a number of options in Carrollton as well. Visit http://www.familyeguide.com/index5.php?id=5&sid=63.

Our online calendar also provides information about lots of special events and activities taking place in our area (library events, free outdoor movies and concerts, special festivals - like the Highland Village Balloon Fest in August - and much much more). We update our calendar daily, so be sure to check back as we get closer to their visit.

They would LOVE our summer day camps on Lake Grapevine - www.AdventureDayCamps.com

Ages 4-13 enjoy activities such as archery, target shooting, kayaking, fishing, swimming in the lake, nature walks, water balloons and water guns, a scavenger hunt, outdoor games, and more!

We are in session 5 of 12 this week...going all the way until Aug. 21st (the Friday before school starts).

Feel free to give me a call at ###-###-#### if you have any questions...this is our 6th summer on Lake Grapevine and the kids are having a ball!

I am not sure which part of the metroplex you are in--if in Denton County this is a list of summer camps, classes, etc.:

and a calendar/info for that same area:

Otherwise, always new stuff appearing daily: http://www.BurbMom.net

HAVE FUN!

The Dallas Arboretum has some day camps in August. My daughter attended one and loved it, and I felt they were good quality and reasonably priced. Call to see if they have any spots left.
