Seeking Cute Hair Cut for a Reasonable Price

I live in East Plano and I have tried several different salons over the last few months, but I have yet to find a stylist that offers a cute cut for under $50. Does anybody know of a stylist in the Garland, Plano, Allen, Richardson area that is reasonable, up-to-date, and works evening hours? I am expecting my 4th baby girl and I would love to get a cute cut before she arrives in June.

Ericka's Hair on the Square in downtown McKinney area. I don't think she works real late but her prices are awesome and she does a wonderful job!! Ericka owns the salon and has another girl there with her, Amanda. I would recommend either one!! ###-###-#### is the salon phone.

I go to Penny's Salon. My hair stylist is named Gloria. She is great. Not only is she a great stylist -- she is reasonable priced. My hair is short but not short short and she only charges me $25.00. That includes shampoo, haircut and style.

The address is: 1705 Ave. K, Plano, Tx 75074. The phone number is ###-###-####.

Good Luck!

I have to tell you all that the Toni & Guy academy in Carrollton ROCKS!! It is just 2 miles form both George Bush and the North tollway so it is easy to get to!!! It is at The Southeast corner of Trinity Mills and MArsh just across teh street from the Scrapbook Barn (where I work on Sundays)The ladies that did mine rocked!!! Melissa, Natalie or Leslie. ANyway I know what some of you might be thinking but they can not mess up. Their instructor is there at every step to check and make sure they are doing it right and to guide them through it!!!! Also if you are like me and just want them to do the cut that would work best for you they can. The instructors come over and tell teh students what would be best and it is!!! ALot of the instructors are the people that worked the runway shoots for Toni & Guy...they know what they are doing! Anyway I can not brag enough. When I left I felt revived and hot(like sexy which is not a normal feeling for me)!!! Plus for all over highlights, low lights and a cut it was only $47...You can not beat that!!! I hope some of you get to go and experience the lift in confidence I got!! They really rock!!

R., I live in East Plano also and I highly recommend Rana Mohense. She has a shop called Rana's Room in the Salons on the Creek (located by the Collin Creek Mall). Rana is young, funny, and very upbeat. She's a mom too! She has evening hours throughout the week and she has a very flexible schedule where she can accommodate whatever time you need.

Rana’s phone number is ###-###-####. Her website is www.ranasroom.com. She has her prices listed on the website, but I can tell you that for a haircut she charges $41. I can't say enough good things about Rana, she's awesome!

I go to Regis Hair Salon in the Firewheel Shopping Mall. Ask for Sandra. Cut and shampoo is $36 and she is really good about talking to you about what cut you want. I would definitely go see her again. The # is ###-###-####. It really helps to bring a picture of the style you want whereever you decide to go. Good luck.

My recommendation is in Rowlett which is not a city you listed but it's close to Garland and the salon name is Style America next to the Albertsons located off of Lakeview Pkwy and Dalrock.
The stylist I use is Tina and I think she's great. She "listens" to what you want and doesn't try to make up some weird style for you that "she" likes. I always seem to get stylist that wouldn't listen and tell me "I think you should do it like this" and I'd always leave unhappy with my cut. : (
So, I was really happy when I found Tina and she really listens. Her price is only $16 a cut and you can't beat that for a professional cut. I just had my 3rd and went to her the day before my induction date to get a cut that was more easy to maintain with 3 kiddos in the house! : )
Good luck to you and feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I started going to a girl in downtown plano just recently. I have been a few times and love her! She is just trying to start her business. I am unsure how much just a cut would be, but I went a week ago and got my hair trimmed, colored and my daughters hair cut for 70$!

Let me know if you would like her number

I have a great stylist who is super sweet. She is at Hedgecoxe and Custer in a brand new salon. Cuts are $40. The only thing is, she doesn't work nights and weekends however if your kids are well behaved she usually doesn't mind if they come. Her name is Candace Cobb and her number is ###-###-####, leave a message and she will call you back. Good luck!

If your willing to drive into Wylie, I would recommend Downtown Salon Suites on Ballard st downtown. The ladies there are great, I just had my hair cut a month or so ago for the first time by Diane Nutt, and she did a fantastic job, and was only $25! I had been going to a girl near Willow Bend for years, but once I moved away from that part of town the drive was too long for a $45 haircut.

I have always gotten great results from any Super Cuts for only $13.95! I look like a big tipper when I go for my $20 hair cut! If you are able to tell your stylist what you have in mind, he/she should be able to give you what you want. I know it's not a "salon" but a great hair cut is a great hair cut, and you can't beat the price!

All the stylist at Visible Changes in Collin Creek Mall are awesome! If you get a junior person (Haircutter) you should be able to meet your budget. They have awesome training. (If you can splurge a little you CAN NOT go wrong with Carlos--he was even a guest makeover artist on Oprah!)

I recommend Lin at Clip and Cuts off of McDermott/75 in Allen. She is really good with cuts and very inexpensive. I am used to the $50 salon cuts but heard she was just as good, and tried her myself!
