I'm looking for a good first keyboard & mouse for a fairly coordinated toddler girl - any recommendations or warnings?

Thanks.

My 2 and 3 yr olds LOVE the "CLICK START my first computer" by Leapfrog. It plugs into the T.V. has GREAT learning games for them both to play and I don't HAVE to sit with them if I have other things to do. I'm amazed at how much they enjoy this...we're a very ACTIVE group.

My daughter has the Leapfrog My First Click Computer. It is great. She just turned 4 last week and the keyboard and mouse are perfect with great learning games for her to play. The keyboard is wireless and the computer hooks to the t.v. The games really help them learn key placement, how to use the mouse and tons of other learning experiences. The best thing is that she is not playing on our home computer. She was using our computer once and somehow corrupt a file so we were never able to leave her alone with our computer. Everything is geared for 3 to 6 years olds on the Leapfrog and I can get dinner ready or do other things while she plays on the computer. I would highly recommend.

All I can think of is that I would get a wireless keyboard and mouse. My daughter started navigating the computer pretty well at age 3. She does great!

Just use a regular one. My three yearold does just fine with it. Save your money.

i second the thought of just starting her on a real one and saving some money. my kids have always used a regular one. even my daugher who has small hands (and is a lefty) uses our regular mouse tho she guides with one hand and clicks with the other.
