Hi N., I have a son who was just recently diagnosed with ADD. We have been trying out differant meds and he has been going to counciling. The meds have kind of worked but we can't seem to find the right one.

I have a 10 year old boy who has a diagnosis of Asperger's, Add and Tourette's. I would love to communicate more with you at any time. It can be a challenge but can also be a great joy to learn to see the world the way he does. How old is your child?
My son is 3 1/2 and is High Functioning Autistic, which is similar to Asperger's.

My son was recently diagnosed with Asperger's. It has been a struggle for most of his life as all of the help I sought just labled him ADHD. I have done alot of reading on the subject and talk on the web to other parents with Aspi kids. I am going to go to parenting group soon so I can help him succeed in life. Truthfully, a neurodevelopmental nurse at Children's suggested my five-year-old son has symptoms of high functioning autism, but we don't yet know if he has Asperger's. He does have a disorder that's apparently on the autism spectrum, however, and he's undergoing an intervention for social communication.
I thought I'd respond on the off chance you'd broaden your search for parents of high-functioning autistic children, or high-functioning children on the autism spectrum.

My son is 3 years old and he's got an educational diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and we are waiting for the OT assessment but we are pretty sure he has Sensory Integration Disorder too. So not exactly what you are looking for but pretty close. He started special needs preschool in a self contained autism classroom about a month ago. I'd be happy to chat with you.

My Son was diagnosed with ADHD at 2. But it has been managed through diet.
i have a child with ADHD and Bi-polar she is a peice of work but over all she is a great kid she is 12 years old and sometimes is full of her self lol if there is anything i can help you iwith let me know

I don't know yet if my child has autism or not because they are in the testing phase. We are close to the end though and if he does have it then his is mild. He is three.

Hi, N.. My son has Bipolar and ADHD. He takes medication and sees a therapist. do you have the same problem with school as I do? It seems like he struggles too hard. His behavior flares up when i have to make him do his homework. We have IEP in place and that helps but I still worry. How do you cope?
We keep close tabs on his behavior and his ups and downs. It takes extra time but he's such a sweet kid that he's worth it.
