I highly recommend contacting my CRANIAL SACRAL CHIROPRACTOR, Dr. Curtis Buddingh (who is amazing with everyone and especially babies). He was referred to me by my midwife when I was preggers with my dazzling son, Dylan Orion, and I definitely know it was because of his adjustments and good prenatal vitamins and diet that I experienced a most amazing delivery with Dylan naturally. As you can imagine, though, birth can be an intense adventure for a baby. And when Dylan arrived his jaw was a little misaligned from knocking against my pelvic bone, and my midwife suggested we take him to Dr. Budding immediately. So, 2 days after his birth Dylan and I both received the most amazing cranial sacral adjustments from Dr. Buddingh, and magically Dylan's jaw aligned just after that one adjustment. Dr. Buddingh definitely is a MIRACLE WORKER and is so gentle. As you can see, we love Dr. Buddingh immensely and continue to get adjusted by him almost every month. And, just to let you know, Dr. Nicholas Kambourakis is the other CRANIAL SACRAL CHIROPRACTOR in the office, and like Dr. Budding, he also specializes in babies and children and is also quite incredible.

Hi T.. I take my 2 daughters to Dr.Simon Barker in Pasadena. Check out his website at paracelsusla.com. He practices with Dr.Brousseou. They are Pediatric Naturopaths. My husband is a Chiropractor. His name is Dr.Michael Pangelinan. You can reach him at ###-###-####. He may be able to recommend someone or help you with what you're looking for. His practice is in Universal City. Also, Dr.Barker will have recommendations of other holistic practitioners. We got a great dentist from him. We also do not believe in medicine unless it's a dire emergency. I gave birth to my 2nd child at home in a birth tub. Wonderful experience! We don't vaccinate our children right now as we believe in waiting a few years. So, yes, we definitely go through the non western medicine route. And,we believe, we and our children are healthier for it. Good luck!

Saw this post and had to put in a plug for our doc up here in WA. She is, hands down, the best kiddo doc ever! Dr. Kathleen Allen is an ND, a midwife, and a board certified lactation consultant. She really helped my daughter when she was a week old and couldn't latch. I was so scared, and she made it all right. Dr. Katie also teaches Neonatology at Bastyr. She is awesome! We've been taking our 3 month old daughter to the fabulous chiropractor/wellness doctor, Dr. Dale Ellwein in Glendale since she was 1 week old - he's right up the 2 freeway from Eagle Rock: Standing Tall Chiropractic - 3436 N. He is amazingly gentle with children. Often he just picks up our baby and if she doesn't need an adjustment, he'll just talk baby talk to her and make her laugh. (No charge for those visits) He has very reasonable rates and he offers free chiropractic care for all military personnel returning from combat and their families for one year after their discharge.
He was looking at adding a cranial sacral person for his office, but I don't know if she started yet.
