There is no real reason she can't drink from a bottle.
Think about it. Milk is milk, water is water, juice is juice...no matter what it comes out of. Why battle with her if she really wants her bottle?
My grandson stayed on the bottle until he was 2-2 1/2. One day he walked up and handed me his bottle and told me he didn't want it anymore. It went away, above the washer, and he looked where they stayed on the shelf, it was gone, he asked for a cup instead.
He has the best teeth in the family. He did not carry a bottle around with him sucking on it, he did not hold a bottle in his mouth all night with the contents dripping on the teeth causing the sugars to continuously stay on them.
If she is focused on the bottle and you are trying to take it away then she will stay focused on it and it will become the thing she wants most.
