I would highly suggest, that you try book illustration. Be an illustrator. Too.
That is something to try! Another avenue of artwork.

Like your art.

I am a fine arts major.
Grew up with art and parents that did art of all mediums.

Wow, Libby, I am so glad I was cruising back through earlier questions.

Your artwork is very skilled and talented.:) I agree with other posters about doing illustrations.... too many children's books these days have very poor art. This has a very high quality of work... many of us are hungry for good art for youngsters.

You are reminding me... I spent nearly five years with my ex-husband, who was a cartoonist/artist and I learned so much from him. When I was pregnant, I dropped writing completely and illustrated a book for my soon-to-meet son and was so surprised how much I had retained. I hope your children are able to watch and learn as they see their mother doing something she truly loves.

Thanks for sharing. And in answer to your question: nondescript weekend, but we have a sitter for three hours on Sunday. Can't decide whether to go out or stay in!;)

I'm sorry your weather is nasty. Hate to rub it in but it is beautiful here in Houston! The humidity isn't too bad and not a cloud in the sky. Somewhere in the 90's. I can't wait to get home from work and get in my pool! Have a wonderful weekend. My mother is an artist and my hero. She tried to teach me to draw, but I have NO talent, AT ALL!! I can't even draw a circle! I always admire those who have that talent!
