We went to a "Puppy Party" for my friend's 1 year old son. She gave each kiddo a cute white bowl with their name on it (sticker letters)--it was supposed to be a dog bowl. She filled it with goodies!

You'll need to have something involving clues and a mystery. Maybe a guessing type game Food of course would be called Scooby snacks and should all be finger food. You could choose clever names based on the cartoon characters.

My daughter did one of those cardboard cut outs where you put your head through the opening when she had an under the sea party. There was a scene that made the child look like an octopus and she took digital pics of each one and emailed it to the parents.

The babysitter had a Scooby Doo party for the twins. It was a blast. She did the clothespin drop game with the graham cracker scooby snacks; a scooby pinata and cake.

--The Scooby Snacks are great and most kids love them or the Scooby Fruit snacks.
--There is a Scooby Wilton Cake pan if you are creative. Or you could do the mystery machine.
--If you are doing sandwiches or finger foods cut into shapes like bones, the van, etc.

Have fun!! Have any older kids, husband, you, etc dress as the characters.

My son loves Scooby Doo too! How about a scavenger hunt? The "gang" is always going on a hunt for something, so that should fit right in. At the refreshment table, you could cut out letters to hang above that say "Scooby Snacks". You could make cookies the shape of bones like Scooby snacks. You could even put all snacks in dog bowls. The cake should be easy- just make a chocolate cake with black spots. Then put some blue ribbon or similar around the edge like Scooby's collar with a gold tag.
Also, pizza or cheeseburgers are a must for this party. They are Scooby's favorite foods. :)
Oh boy- I could go on and on. I have been thinking of the same ideas for my own son's birthday party. Can't wait to see other suggestions.

Solve a mystery of course!! Like... the mystery of the missing birthday cake! Put clues around the house and yard and lead the kids on the hunt. You can also plant fake items around with the clues (plastic cake or cookies) to surprise them. Have fun!!
