I'm wondering if any of you know of any programs for toddlers for baseball or t ball. My son just turned 3 and LOVES to play baseball. I've heard of "diaper leagues" in other places, but failed to find anything when I googled it. THanks so much!

What can I do next?

I think Winfield Park District has a program, but they have already started, so I don't know if you will be able to sign up for this session.

Hi!
Have you looked through your park district or surrounding area park districts?? We live in Woodridge and they offer a T Ball class for 3 year olds. My son actually starts on Thursday. Even if you are a nonresident you can join, but you pay a higher fee.

Check your park district. Through ours, we have All Star Sports that actually does programs in several towns in our area(I live in Villa Park). They do t-ball and soccer for ages 3 and up. The coaches are great too. My two big kids started taking classes with them when they turned 3, and my 4 year old son is still playing soccer. The programs are offered through my parks and recs book.

Not sure where you live but the Elmhurst park district has Biddy Baseball for 3-4 year olds. My son went last spring. He loved it. It was so fun watching the coaches get a group of 20 kids trying to play and learn how to play! The website is www.epd.org for more info.

Look at your park district. Any of the classes taught by All Star Sports are wonderful for that age!

Call all the surrounding neighborhood park districts. One of them will have a program or can tell you where their kids went.

If you have a YMCA near you, check out their summer catalogue. My kids did T-ball through our Y at that age.

We are doing T-ball through the Woodridge Park District run through All Star Sports. We don't live in Woodridge, but the price was reasonable. My son also just turned 3, and I was having a hard time finding t-ball for his age. My town's park district started t-ball at 4.We did soccer through All Star Sports, and the coaches we great! Good luck!
