I am nursing my 5 month old baby and I have been wanting to go on a diet. I am very overwieght and do not exercise. I have signed up for a gym membership, but I would also like to cut back my calories to lose weight quicker. I am wondering since I do have a lot of weight to lose (about 70lb to be considered normal weight) would I still need to take in extra calories, or could my fat storage be converted into calories for the baby.
