Help with Eczema

My 6 month old was just diagnosed with eczema and I am trying to get his breakouts under control. The doctors are not so helpful on what is causing it (basically saying it could be anything). At this point my poor son is covered in the rash and can't sleep because his normal self soothing method is rubbing his face with a snuggly and his face is raw. Have any of you dealt with this? Do you have any tips other than hydrocortisone on how to sooth my poor baby?

Cradle Cap Flakes Taking Hair Out

My 2 1/2 yr old has minor eczema problems and cradle cap that comes and goes. The eczema has been easy to treat when it shows up but for the most part I left the cradle cap alone. It didn't seem to bother my daughter so it didn't bother me. I just minimized the number of times per week I shampood her hair, to minimize the drying effect on her scalp. The eczema is really mild every where else on her body and is cleared up with just a few treatments of hydrocortisone 1%. My husband, however, has been bothered by the cradle cap and wanted me...

Acyclovir/Amantadine/Hydrocortisone/Fluconazole Protocol for 11 Year Old...

I have an 11 year old with whom we have struggled for years with regard to behavior. He has never had an actual "diagnosis" but we took him to see Dr. Kendal Stewart of the Neurosensory Center in Austin, Texas. The doctor put him on a protocol of the mentioned medications for 3 months. He thinks that a virus or some viruses may have entered his body when he was vacinated. PLEASE give me your experience with this protocol...with these medicines....etc. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Acid Mantle (Cream Mixed with Hydrocortisone) - Is It Safe?

I have a 15 month old son who has extremely sensitive skin and had horrible ezcema (sp?) since he was an infant. We found out that it was mostly caused by an allergy to pet dander so we had to give up our pug. Well, we have been using a prescription cream on him called A-Mantle since he was about 6 months old that our Pediatric Allergist prescribed (who is associated with CHOP). This cream is a hydrocortisone mixed with some other type of cream. We use it on him practically every single day (since he still has ezcema). I specifically...
