Mental Health Insurance

I'm wanting to take my son to see a counselor or at least go on ADHD meds. But all those things are classified under Mental Health and you will get charged full price to see a doctor for any of these things. We currently have Medical Health Insurance through my husbands work but they don't offer Mental Health Insurance. Any advice? I thought about dropping him from our Medical Health Ins and trying to get Medicaid but the risk there is how long it takes to get Medicaid my son would be without insurance that could be several months. I am a bit scared because I did some research online and hear horror stories. I feel like talking to the psychiatrist again and seeing what other options I have. I am currently taking Klonipin for the panic attacks but it makes me feel so clumsy and sleepy and...

In school he has had a bad last few weeks, where he will start out being good, listening and being helpful, and then later will immediately become to where he doesnt want to listen, become angry, and also very defiant. Please if there is anybody out there that...

What to Do About Depression???

Hi, My husband has always been moody. I just took it to be in his nature. Now that we have kids, however, he gets into these "moods" much more often, sometimes twice a week, if they only last a day or so. Sometimes they last a whole week and more! And I HATE it! I don't know what to do. He is not abusive, though sometimes can be mean. He tends to just be quiet and not say anything. I have to take care of the kids myself, as he does not want to be involved when he's in a mood. It's to the point where my soon to be three-year-old...
