ERGO...what Do You Think?

Hey Moms, I trust your advice more than any others. I've heard good things about the ERGO baby carrier. I'm considering getting one. Is it worth the price? (That's a considerable cost for our family) My 23 lb. 1 yr old grew out of his Bjorn carrier long ago and we have a metal frame backpack carrier, but I can't help but wonder about the Ergo. Also, I'm 4 months pregnant and am not sure if I could even use it when I get a little rounder. Is it just another "thing" I can live without or is it a mommy must have? Thanks for your...

General Questions About 1 Year Old

Hello all, As my subject implies I have quite a few questions for those in the know. I live in a foreign country and have no friends and the only two people I can turn to are my mother (lived thousands of miles away), my husband or my inlaws. I have therefore turned to the internet for advice. So bear with me. My one year old son and I had a very traumatic birth. Around 48 hrs. and I was induced twice. After his birth he stayed with me in the hospital bed and breastfed right away. He breastfed constantly. I found out two weeks later...

Infantino Vs. Ergo Carrier

Hello Moms! I have a friend thats interested in getting a carrier. I told her that I've read and heard great things about the Ergo Carrier. She sent me an email today and I wanted to know your thoughts/advice, since I only own a sling and have no experience with either the Infantino or the Ergo. I had a quick question. I'm looking for baby carriers...and I definitely don't want the sling. My husband mentioned that you were recommended the ERGO carrier? I read some reviews on it, and it sounds great. But my husband is a bit hesistant...

Need Lots of Advice! New Pregnancy

We just found out we are pregnant with #3!! A few things I'd like to ask for some advice on are, 1)What types of slings did any of you use that you loved? My 2nd baby and this one are going to be much closer in age, and I didn't find a sling that really worked for me last time! 2)I could also use advice in the nursing dept. I really struggled previously, and took for granted it would eventually just come naturally, it didn't! Websites, books etc? 3) How do I prepare my littlest for the new arrival? He will just be over 2 when the new baby...
