Help Me Soothe My Baby!!!

Hello to ALL!! My little guy will be 9 months in a couple of days, and he has been suffering from eczema basically his whole life. Everytime his doctor prescribes something, it works for a few days (STARTS clearing up) then gets just as bad, or a little worse, after that. I have very sensitive skin, while his father suffers from eczema. I just don't know how to help him. EVERYTHING that goes on his skin is non-irritant, and scent free, as is my fabric detergent. If anyone has any ideas how I can help my little guy, PLEASE let me in on...

Baby Shower for a Second Baby?

JUST CURIOUS to what others think about the topic. We are currently TTC our second child. We have a 17mo old little girl and I've saved all of her clothes and such just in case we have another girl the 2nd time around. (Although we'd love a boy, one of each!) I'm assuming that if we have another girl, then a baby shower is not really necessary since I wouldn't really need clothes and we'd probably end up buying the bigger items ourselves anyway and reuse a lot of the toys/equipment. Or is it reasonable to have a shower of sorts for a...

What Products to Use for an Infant Who Has a Rash

Hi I was wondering what products many of you recommend for an infant (2 month old) who has a very bad sandpaper like rash all over her body. Her back is actually peeling today since her skin has been so dry. I did take her to her Pediatrician who ruled out any illness. He stated it may be sensitive skin or she may be having a reaction to a food that I am eating as she also has very bad reflux along with it. I use dreft detergent on all clothes/linens that come into contact with her. I use Eucerin on her skin which does seem to help a...

Would Using Method Products Help or Make Eczema Go awayI

Hello! Just got back from the doctor getting my son checked out for an ear infection when I had her look at my sons dry skin that wouldn't go away for the past several weeks. Well there was also a bright red spot that I hadn't seen at all. She thinks its Eczema. So she said to go and get fragrance free, alcohol free products. Well I had just bought Method laundry detergent and hand soap (Target was having a really great sale!!) I hadn't used the Method stuff to wash my sons clothes yet. I also cloth diaper so I am washing all of my son's...

My Child Just Won't Eat.

As a mother of 3, this only makes most days harder. My middle child who will turn 3 in August, is a horrible eater. I'm not talking picky, he just dosen't like to eat. I have taken him to the doctor, and have had him tested for several things, but nothing seems to be wrong with him. He is active and happy, but can be very moody. The doctors told me his eating was a phase, and he should grow out of it soon. Although they say a fist full of food is all they need at a setting, but sometimes I'm lucky to get that in 3 or 4 days. We have taken...
